The Mayor, Juan Soria, and the Councillor for Sports, Julián Sánchez, received the distinction awarded by the Orienteering Federation of the Region of Murcia במסגרת the Costa Cálida Trophy.
The Moratalla City Council has been distinguished for its close collaboration and commitment to the development of sports activities in the municipality. In an institutional event, the Orienteering Federation of the Region of Murcia (FORM) presented a special recognition to the town’s Mayor, Juan Soria, and the Councillor for Sports, Julián Sánchez.
This distinction comes on the occasion of the Costa Cálida Orienteering Trophy, a significant event that places our Region on the national and international sports map. The Federation highlighted the technical, logistical, and institutional support that the Moratalla council consistently provides, enabling the town’s privileged natural environment to become a benchmark for the practice of orienteering.
The governing team reaffirmed its commitment to continue promoting healthy lifestyle habits and hosting events that, in addition to fostering sport, represent a boost for tourism and the local economy.
