GR-251 High Plateau Cross Path – Stage Calasparra → Moratalla

Final stage of the GR-251. From Calasparra train station, the route climbs to Alto de San Miguel (viewpoint chapel), crosses the tunnel under the RM-730, and joins rural tracks that, between cortijos and wide wheat fields, lead to the Alhárabe River valley and the La Puerta campsite (Moratalla). Good training to then continue on the GR-7/GR-7.1 towards Caravaca. Ideal in spring and autumn.
