Alfonso XIII Reservoir and La Ramona Salt Flats
CalasparraIt can be considered one of the most important inland wetlands in the Region of Murcia, as it is home to a large number of waterbirds that live among the reservoir’s vegetation. Very close by, the La Ramona Salt Flats, a highly saline wetland, date back to Roman times. Both the reservoir and the surrounding area are designated as LIC and ZEPA.
