Church of the Concepción
CehegínLocated on the highest hill in the historic quarter, it was declared a National Monument in 1980. Its construction is believed to date back to the late 15th or early 16th century, and it stands out for its clear Mudéjar influence. Its most spectacular treasure is the polychrome Mudéjar coffered ceiling, crowned by an impressive muqarnas pinecone in the presbytery.
