Vélez Castle
MulaThis imposing building is the city's most prominent and iconic landmark. A magnificent 16th-century ashlar construction, it stands at the top of the hill, overlooking the entire river plain. It was built to demonstrate the power and supremacy of the House of Vélez. Although not open to visitors, it offers stunning views of the city and the Mula River region.
