Sierra de Lavia – Pico Lavia, Morra Oscura and Cuchillos
BullasDemanding alpine circular route that reaches the rocky ridges of the Sierra de Lavia (1,231 m). Exposed ridge sections and stony trails require good footwear and GPS navigation. From the summit, there are views over the Valle del Aceniche, known for its high-altitude vineyards, and the sierras of Burete and Cambrón, designated as LIC and ZEPA. Diverse Mediterranean flora (black juniper, holm oak, kermes oak) and possible sightings of Iberian ibex and red-billed chough. Recommended from October to May; avoid summer due to heat and lack of water.
