{"id":37110,"date":"2026-03-17T08:38:18","date_gmt":"2026-03-17T08:38:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tierrasdelaveracruz.com\/sin-categoria\/cehegin-improves-the-argos-reservoir-to-facilitate-fishing-and-preserve-the-environment\/"},"modified":"2026-03-17T08:38:18","modified_gmt":"2026-03-17T08:38:18","slug":"cehegin-improves-the-argos-reservoir-to-facilitate-fishing-and-preserve-the-environment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tierrasdelaveracruz.com\/en\/cehegin\/cehegin-improves-the-argos-reservoir-to-facilitate-fishing-and-preserve-the-environment\/","title":{"rendered":"Ceheg\u00edn improves the Argos reservoir to facilitate fishing and preserve the environment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Ceheg\u00edn City Council, in collaboration with the Directorate-General for Natural Heritage and Climate Action, has carried out cleaning and restoration work at the Argos reservoir, one of the most frequently used areas by fishing enthusiasts in the Region of Murcia.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"431\" data-end=\"646\">The institutional visit was attended by the mayor of Ceheg\u00edn, Alicia del Amor, and the Regional Minister for the Environment, Juan Mar\u00eda V\u00e1zquez, who verified firsthand the improvements carried out.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"648\" data-end=\"867\">Torrential rains had caused the accumulation of large quantities of reeds and plant debris along the banks, as well as damage to the access road, making it difficult to practice the sport.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"869\" data-end=\"1246\">The work focused on the left bank of the reservoir, removing plant debris with machinery and with the collaboration of local fishermen. The material was transported to an authorized center for proper management.
